10 Months

Weight:  15 pounds 13 ounces (gain of 1 pound and 1 ounce this month).

Height:  26 inches (9 months)

Medical Issues:  I thought she had an ear infection this week but she doesn’t.  We went to get it checked out yesterday and the doctor said her ears looked great.

Sleep:  We’re having an easier time getting her down at might.  Most nights it’s 30 minutes max.  Sometimes she sleeps the way until 6am, other nights she’s up anywhere from 1am-3am for a bottle.

Clothing Size:  Really depends on the brand.

Carter’s:  9 Month pants and a mix of 6 and 9 month onesies.
Koala Baby:  9 Months
Others:  Just getting into 6-9 months.

Diaper Size:  Size 2 (Huggies & Pampers)

Diet:  We stuck with Similac Total Comfort until 2 weeks ago.  She’s so hit and miss with bottles I got tired of throwing 3 and 4 ounces down the drain at a time so I thought I’d change it up.  I switched to the Kirkland Infant Formula.  She is doing just fine on it, so we’ll most likely stay on this until she switches to whole milk at 12 months.  Her bottles are fortified to 24 calories and will continue to be.  She takes 4 bottles a day right now, sometimes 5.

We are currently feeding her Gerber baby yogurt, oatmeal with formula, Gerber third foods and some table food.

Her current schedule is like this most days:

6am – wake up, 4.5oz bottle.
6:30-7am – nap on the way to daycare.
8-9:30ish – morning nap.
9:30 – 4.5oz bottle then baby yogurt.
12pm – lunch, generally oatmeal with formula.
12:30pm – afternoon nap.  Usually for 2-3 hours.
3:30pm – 4.5oz bottle.
4:45 – pick up from daycare.  Sometimes she takes a 15-20 minute nap.
5:45 – dinner, usually a Gerber stage 3 along with some yogurt bites and puffs.   Sometimes table food.
7:45 – bath time
8:00 – 5.5oz bottle, usually asleep by 8:30pm

Baby Gear Love:  Our North States Play Yard.  Having this set up in the living room has been fantastic!

Milestones/Firsts:  can stand unassisted for 10-15 seconds at a time now.

Likes:  Toys, pacifier, car and stroller rides, crawling.

Dislikes:  Being held pretty much at all.  If we’re somewhere outside of the house then she doesn’t mind us carrying her.

Things I Don’t Want to Forget:
1) This girl is smart.  Too smart.  I’m just amazed how quick she picks up new skills.

What’s Next?  I think walking will be her next skill.

I can’t believe her birthday party is 2
months away.  Time is really flying!

Daycare:  going well!
